I couldn’t believe that June 8 I’m going to Orlando Florida for vacation. It’s a little early
though because the last day of school is on June 6. My mom said we can even go to
Disney World! I know I may be a little too old for that but c’mon it’s Disney World! Finally
the day arrived, we left at about 12:00 p.m. and it was a 24 hour road trip! Stuck in the
car with my annoying little brothers and my little cousins.

On our way we were all excided but we had no idea it would be a long way. We played
some music and we were singing along. I was in the very back with my little cousins.
My baby cousin was crying so I had to put a movie so she wouldn’t cry and the movie
was Despicable Me 2! She’s in love with that movie. A few hours passed and it was
night time everyone was sleeping except my dad and I. We stopped a few times at gas
stations and to eat something. The basic same things happened. On our way we saw
other cities like Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, and many more. Before we knew it we
were already there! We couldn’t see Disney World right away because our hotel was
like 10 minutes away from there. We arrived at our hotel and it looked fancy. There was
even a water park! When we went inside the hotel assigned to us it literally looked like
an apartment. There was a kitchen and two bedrooms. They both had TV’s. It was a
little late so we didn’t do anything we just went to Cisis Pizza. The next day we got up
supper early like at 8 in the morning, we had breakfast and took a shower; we were
ready to go to Disney World! We decided to go to the Magic Kingdom since it was more
for little kids.  As we entered I could smell the delicious smell of recently baked pretzels.
Somehow it reminded me of my grandma’s house; full of laughter and love and
delicious smells. I could see Cinderella’s castle as we walked further. And then there it
was what my mom had been waiting for.

“Look! It’s Winnie the Pooh!” cried my mom.
For some reason she is obsessed with Winnie the Pooh!
“Mom stop acting like a little girl” I murmured.
We rode it. And all it did was take you through Winnie Pooh’s story. Most of them were the same except one.
“Oh my god!” I yelled.
“What? Are you okay?” questioned my mom.
“Oh, yeah I’m fine but LOOK!” I yelled again but this time pointing to a rollercoaster.
“Ooooooh Yeaaaah!” screamed my brother.
We rode it and it was so much fun. It was not scary at all actually it was pretty small.
And then we were tired. We went on almost every ride. But we decided to stay for the
electrical parade, mini movie and the firework show. The electrical parade was just the
Disney character on top of a car waiving, almost like the homecoming parades that we
have now, just that this one had lights and it happened during the night. The firework
show was awesome as well as the mini movie. Disney World is really a place were no
matter your age you will totally enjoy it! My favorite ride was the Little Mermaid Story.

I met Rapunzel, Cinderella, Thinker Bell, Ariel, Alice, and the incredible. Minnie and
Mickey and so many other Disney characters! It doesn’t matter how old you are you will
never be too old to explore a little Disney fun. Can I just say that it was the best day of
my life and for sure the best vacations ever!!
