Pet Peeves
Pet peeves can be quite annoying; for example, when I’m in the car with
my siblings. The second a familiar song comes on the radio, they
start singing along to it. Once they get into it
I think to myself “Really, do they have
to do this every single car ride? And
why is this song still so popular that they still
need to play it on the radio?” I’m just sitting there in the car while
they shriek along to that song (Party Rock Anthem); it
becomes almost unbearable. After a few minutes
of trying to cover my ears by which point another
song comes on that they remember,
I kindly ask for them either to stop
or be a little less loud, they scowl
at me. They continue to do what they were doing, but they
intentionally screech and scratch the lyrics
just to annoy me this time. They try to make EVERY SINGLE
SYLLABLE as annoying as they can make a song.
Eventually, mom orders them to knock it off and be quiet for the
rest of the drive. It makes me want to laugh like a psycho ( but I
don’t for fear of punishment) so I do it in my head.
Hahahahahahaha! And that is just one example of my pet peeves.
But once we get home and start playing videogames,
I turn up the volume. At a certain point, it
irritates them, but not my parents, so
that they have to suffer annoying and obnoxious
  noise (sound familiar?).
