Love is a cure. It cured me from depression and unending happiness; love is beautiful.
You see, I needed him and he needed me just as much. We found each other in a time of darkness.
Our love was unending; had all the posibility in the world. It's now been a year since we've spoken.
When you were a child, you may have been told things about love; things that seemed magical and perfect.
A fairytale, you watched or read. True love, happliy ever after, this is not what love is to me.
Don't be swayed, I believe that love is magical. It healed me, however it left a new scar upon me the day he left.
Love. It doesn't mean "to be together forever." Just because you love each other, doesn't mean you are meant for each other.
This is a warning, proceed cautiously.
Here I am, ready to give up and along comes a boy. He has red hair and freckles.
I never thought too much about him, but everyday he goes out of his way to put a smile on my face.
His name lights up my life. His words calm my storm.
Three years later: I want to marry this boy, but it was not meant to be.
He wasn't put in my life to be with me forever; he was here to help me as I helped him.
So we are now, his baby boy coming in just a few months.
Both of us healed, neither of us happy.
Love works itself into our world in strange ways. Trust where life takes you.
I will heal, for love is a cure. It's a circle; a carousel that comes back around.
Who will be my cure?
