Unhealthy Love

February 6, 2012
Although we seem as if everything is okay, it is far from. In school, we exchange simple smiles, and "How do you do" 's. You say that you're working every day, but we both know the truth. We're avoiding the known, and making small talk with the unknown. We yell at each other constantly through text, notes, and even verbally in school. Random passer-bys can tell that our relationship is strained. You say that it will take a while to heal, placing the blame on me. In reality, though, you are the one in denial, and the one that is actually untrustworthy. I want to pretend that this is a dream, and that it will all go away when I open my eyes. I'm trying to make our relationship work. It seems as if I'm the only one.
