People often talk about the phases that children and teenagers go through. As children we go through phases such as check for monsters under my bed, the tooth fairy, not wanting to eat anything healthy. And as teenagers we face phases such as saying I will never talk to her again, but you do, not wanting to hear anything your parents have to say, and that phase of having to accept that this is life, and this is what you get. Phases are a part of growing up. One phase is when we have a friend. A friend you thought would be there forever. When you give that friend up for reasons you can’t explain, everyone says it is just a phase. Just a phase that you will get over. Get over and things will go back to normal. If I try to explain I will probably get laughed at in my face. They all say it is just a phase. It is not a phase. My mind is made up, no more going back, not a phase.
