Why must my crush be so perfect? Sometimes I go so crazy over him I'll wish he was normal. But no. He has to be the hottest, funiest, most talented person I know.
He stares through me, completely unsuspecting my admiration of his big, brown, sad eyes. I only wish he'd stare into mine and say beautiful and romantic things. He laughs with his friends as I remember the times I've written our names in my notebook. Only the notebook I don't dare bring to school. It's never been seen by my best friend or nosiest sibling.

I wouldn't mind if he grabbed my arm to ask about schoolwork. I wish I wasn't too shy to talk when he's around. I'm just too scared of saying something stupid. I just can't help but to shy away from those sad brown eyes that shine so brightly in the sun.
