Addiction

I have finally come to realize exactly what you are to me; you are the highest high of my life. You are the lowest low. You are the dilated eyes, the semi consciousness. You are my favorite drug, my worst addiction, my most painful withdraw. I see that smile, that flawless smile and I’m already flying. To the rest of the world, I seem like your average junkie, but, they can’t see what my high is. That’s our secret, you and I; we know what you’re capable of. A drug, not inject able, you can’t smoke it, there’s no getting it up your dollar bills. You won’t find it being purchased in any back allies. You’ll see it in your smile, in our entangled hands, in your laugh, and you’ll know the one addiction I am happy to admit to having. My name is Anonymous, and I’m an addict.

I like how you end it, totally dry. Many famous authors end their stories like that too.
