Ahh Valentines Day! The day of hugs and kisses, love and big dreams for couples. Its also my birthday! This year I spent it with friends who adore me, a boy that wants to marry me and loving family who wants to hug me. Forever this will be my day, to celebrate me and my exsistence. Its a sweet day to share love, and do romantic things for your special mate. Ahh Valentines Day! A day for hugs and kisses, love and to dream big.

The author's comments:
This piece was inspired by a box of sweethearts my teacher gave me, and she told us to write what comes to mind. Being that sweethearts candy comes out on Valentines Day, I choose to write about my birthday and how I spent it since thats when it falls (Feb. 14). I really enjoyed the activity and am excited my piece was choosen to be submitted to your magazine.
