When you get older, there was a best friend is someone who is there for you all of the time.  In elementary school, I had a best friend who helped me through stuff. He wrote me a letter that I’ll never forget.

We met in the second grade.  We were in the same class. His name is Nelson.  We would make jokes all the time about random, stupid stuff.  When we had recess, we would play together. Someone threw a block at him one time and I got blamed for it.

As we grew older, we started playing XBox 360 together, “Gears of War.”  We would talk to each other in the mic.

By seventh grade, he sent me a letter in the mail about how I helped him through elementary school and that I was one of his best friends.

I would tell other people about the power of friendship and how one letter can impact your life.
