If a person is asked who their hero is, many people would have a definite answer. Some people may say one of the several Civil Rights activists is their hero. Others may name a former (or current) president, vice president, senator or someone else involved in government. The list of people's heroes can go on and on. I don't know that I can choose one single person and call them my hero. I have had many great teachers who could be called a hero. I have a wonderful grandmother and several amazing aunts and uncles who I could call a hero as well. I could call my pastor, youth pastor or several members of my church a hero. There are also many people who I don't personally know that I could call a hero. I think any person who volunteers at a humane society or rescue center is a hero. There have been, and still are a lot of great people in the world. I think they could all be called a hero. If I was told to pick only one person to call my hero, I don't think I could do it.
