Many people's heroes are famous singers, artists, actors, presidents, civil rights leaders, or super heroes. But how can someone you have never met, someone you do not even know be your hero? They might have been heroes to people that know them, but they didn't do anything for you so how can you look up to them? A real hero is someone you can depend on, someone that always has your back; they will always be there for you. A hero should be someone you know, like your older sibling, a teacher, your friend, or a parent. My heroes are my parents. They have always taken care of me. They were there when I needed someone to talk to or someone to cry to. Whenever I was sick they made me feel better. I know I can count on them for anything. This is why my parents are my heroes.
