When I first met Mr. Dahle, I knew he wasn’t an ordinary teacher. Nine times out of ten, I will not say I like school, but in Mr. Dahle’s class, my perspective on school is different. I thought to myself hey this guy is kind of cool
Mr. Dahle is a funny guy that makes references to video games and movies, which makes us be able to relate to him. Mr. Dahle is a laid back guy. He won’t freak out if you make a joke at him. One time when we were studying physics in video games,we played a racing game, and he had his best time on the board and challenged everyone in the class to beat his time. 

Mr. Dahle has unique teaching style that is different than other teachers. Instead of giving homework, he challenges me to improve my skills. He explains stuff in a way that relates to things I do. When my class was studying color theory, we studied Spyro the Dragon.

Mr. Dahle gives a relaxed and chilled vibe off to his students. This allows students to think of Mr. Dahle as a friend instead of a teacher. Students can be themselves in his class.
This is why I nominate Mr. Dahle or The Teacher of the Year Award.
