Flying Without Wings

By
Sometimes I wonder how long it’ll be until I fall. How long until my energy, my motivation, just fades away. (you can do better than that Ashton, I don’t know where my Ashton has gone but you’re not her.) I’m so tired. I don’t want to feel the pain anymore, I don’t want to be sad. I don’t want to be pushed so hard that I can’t get up after I fall! I want to end it all, because then I wont hurt, I wont be sad.

No one understands, I’m speaking and no one’s listening. I want to give up, but somehow, even when I’m at my end, something won’t let me go. I want to go so badly, I want to fall. Why can’t I fall, even when I don’t have any wings?

Flying without wings,
Undeniable things.
I’ve seen it, I know.
But you’re so cold,
you’re lost in snow.
I wish I wasn’t tied,
I wish I wasn’t low.
I wish I could fly,
I wish you could know.
Even with no wings,
I seem to soar,
Even without things,
My life thrives for more.
I want it to end,
but my heart won’t bend.
I am here,
And from my eye,
I will not tear.
