The road of life paves with good intentions

What if I lose my step and fall into the bad part?

How will life find me?

Mother mother

Look at your dancing girl

Dancing through life, another music box child

What if I don't look both ways?

Will you tighten your grip and keep me by your side?

Mother mother

Here I am, getting older

Trying to understand this thing called life

Will you keep the light on?

Will you wait up for me?

Will I always come home safe?

Life is what happens between crossways and

shattered tears and loving smiles

Life happens when you trust me

Because these lips can't lie to you

This road I'm on isn't getting any easier

And is looking longer after every turn.

What if I'm all alone?

What if it starts raining these tears of mine

And I'm stranded on thunder road again?

Mother mother

Look at your little girl

She's waiting to cross the busy road of life

Will you hold her hand?
