How do we obtain knowledge of reality? To have knowledge of what the world really is to have a flexible and open mind. You have to see different point of views. Another thing is you need to have quick adaptation to what you believe is real and what is not. Also to obtain knowledge of reality you have to just accept.

Reality is not a one way tunnel to really have knowledge of it you must look through the eyes of everybody. Don Juan states, “From the time we were born people tell us that the world is such and such and so and so.” Don Juan is saying that people see the world one way. You must look at everybody point of view instead of just believing the one that’s there.

Being flexible and having quick adaptation can help you when you’re trying to learn. Don Juan states, “There is only one way to learn, and that way is to get down to business.” Basically he is saying that you will only learn if you go and do it. Having quick adaptation will help you through tough situations and through all that you will gain experience, having the experience helps you gain knowledge.

Sometimes how hard you try and focus you could never get what you’re looking for, but only learn to accept it. Don Juan states, “We must treat it as it is a sheer mystery.” In other words Don Juan is saying sometimes we could never understand something, but just have to accept it for what it is. I believe that accepting it can be the best way to understand it. Accepting the unknown you can learn to treat it properly.

To obtain more knowledge of reality you have to see different point of views, another thing is to have a fast adaptation, and also to have a better understanding of reality you have to just accept it. To obtain knowledge of reality you must have knowledge of yourself because you make your own reality.
