Although I absolutely love my family and enjoy spending time with them at home, I know, like many other people, they can be a little embarrassing to take out in public. A good example of this would have to be my dad. I love him to death, but he still loves to tell the corny jokes about “your refrigerator running.”

Another good example is my mom. She is an amazing woman and a great person and is always there for me, but she cracks herself up. I will admit some of her stories are funny but when she tries too hard they become very cheesy.

This characteristic apparently runs through my family because even my extended family loves to act crazy too. My cousins have run toy cars into ponds when we were younger and my cousin Phillip has almost been rammed by a bull, but my favorite family story would have to be my cousins sending each other to the emergency room playing “Whack-A-Mole” with a plastic baseball bat.

Although my family can be a little embarrassing, I am extremely blessed to have them and wouldn’t want any other family!
