Summer Things

Walking outside,i looked up at the sun. Feeling the warmth on my skin and closing my eyes with happiness. I was so happy that it was Summer. Taking off running down the pavement in my shorts my hair blowing behind me, holding on for dear life as i picked up my pace. Feet pounding against the ground i take deep breaths smelling the fragrance of flowers and baked goods. Smells like Summer to me.
