It was my first day at Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter School and I was in the second grade. It was a day I would never forget. Even if I wanted to, my classmates wouldn't let me. The day was going great until I felt a sudden "urge" in my bladder. I asked the teacher to use the bathroom and she politely told me that we would all line up and use the bathroom at the same time. I tried as hard as I could to resist the urge and I did-- until we got in line. I was waiting and waiting and waiting and I was just happy that my pants weren't wet but all that was about to change very quickly. As soon as I stood up and made my way to the girls' line a stream of lliquid cascaded down my leg onto the floor. I was so embarrassed all I could do was cry. So I stood there, on my first day , in the front of the entire second grade and realized that all of these people who just saw me do this would become my friends and peers over the next seven years.
