You called me your buddy.
But now at the worst time of all
I can't do anything to help you.
You lay there in the bed
so helpless and in pain.
You no longer talk but
I feel as if I can feel
your pain.
It's hard to see
you that way.
But I can only imagine
how you feel and what is
going through your mind.
I feel so horrible because
there's nothing I can
do to help you.
I just want you to know
I love you.
