I just want to know when it's my turn to shine, since everyone else I know is too amazing. I want to be known for my writing, and not pushed to the back burner, because someone has better writing then me. THAT'S ALL ANYONE WANTS - to be noticed ONE TIME. It doesn't even matter how long the stage light is on you, just as long as you knew it was there. No one deserves to pushed to the brink, and be forgotten. That's the worst thing you can do to a person - something like that could push a person off the edge of a huge insecruity battle, that they thought they were winning. So please, when editors for Teen Ink, come around to verify amatuer writers; think about the dreams most people mesmorize continually in there own heads. I know, I'm just another kid that is trying to be given the lime light for ONE moment, but I know, deep down, that I am - We are - worth the reading of your eyes. Please, for everyone, try to make everyone feel like they're worth it.
