Teenagers
I realize only now that it is our chronic inability, as teenagers, to astonish ourselves that we go to outrageous lengths and take suicidal risks. We are not acting is if we know everything; we are trying to learn by making mistakes. We are not growing up too fast; we are just trying to grow. We are not rebellious…we are only trying to break away from the track built for us. We want to taste a different air, but we will always return, just like the birds return to the north come the spring…it is where their memories are rooted. We are not rebellious; we are only trying to bring our lives full circle.
