Flames
It started off as a regular day. I woke up o the fresh smell of bacon, eggs, pancakes. Everything you could imagine. I went off to school and in third period I was called to the office. I noticed my mom, stepfather, and brother there. My mother was crying. That was the most confusing moment of my life. We walked outside and my mom told me, our house is gone. The whole thing burnt in flames. I hadn't the slightest idea of what to think. The first thing I asked was, are the kitties alright? She told me we didn't know. I began to cry. We drove back to the house and waited for the firemen to come out. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw one of the firefighters caring out my two kittens. I write this to you from my new house, with both of my kittens on my lap. I thank god for saving my cats. I thank him every, single, day.
