i was born with not a silver spoon but a golden spear in my heands, i was taught to be strong and not fear the white man, stolen from my homelands where the streets paved with gold and bought to this country where i was stripped of my soul. bought here on a slave ship shackeled and bound with chains, robbed of my name and given my masters' surname , having babies' and babies' still had to cook clean and pick and the fields. wasn't i anybody? or just a poor little girl? i cried as i watched them sell my sons and daughters but still i remained strong and sensable. i am the mother of a warrior the wife of a king...i am a black queen!!!!
