What Do We Take For Granted?
I think that clean drinking water it something that Americans take for granted. When we are thirsty we just go to the faucet or grab a water bottle. What if you could not do that? In some countries they do not have this privilege. Sometimes they just have to drink water from whatever resource is available, like a lake or a river. This water is dirty and probably contaminated with all kinds of bacteria. These things should not be digested. Sometimes they show television commercials asking for donations so kids and families can get the healthy water that they need.
People should pay attention to these commercials, and donate. It will be helping a lot of people and possibly be saving lives. By donating, people will help provide fresh clean drinking water for those who need it. A statistic from www.thewaterproject.org says that 1 out of 6 people in the world do not have healthy drinking water available to them. With help, it is very possible to change this.
