Their Eyes
My dad’s eyes are a sleepy and exhausted blue. My mother’s eyes are a piercing light green, sometimes getting to an almost yellow color which makes her more hawk-like than she already is. All three of my brothers have blue eyes, none of which are a pretty, perfect blue but instead a dull dark and devious blue.
My eyes however are three colors and they are green, gray, and blue and they seem to go with my mood, if I am happy they are usually green, sad or angry is gray and neutral being blue. I was born with them blue. They turned green one day in the summer and I can’t explain why. They just did.
