The Story Never Told

This story deserves to be told to anyone who is holding back a memory, the intense emotions and the questionable fear.
It was summer of 1999, I am living with my family in a country where mankind has lost its meaning and money is worth everything. 10:30 I am unable to judge the reason. He rushes through the room and in a blink of an eye, the scene changes. She fell on the bed crying. That tear might have rolled down her cheek but it washed away my childhood, that night took away with it my peace, my respect for him and left me with rage, great anger and hate. I was helpless, I wish I wasn't 9 years old, if I wasn't so small I could stand up to it, stand up to the injustices that had fallen upon a great daughter, upon a great mom, upon a great wife, upon a female.
Now 7 years later, my brain is flashing back the memories of that night, tears haunt me down, wish I never had to see what I did see. I am scared cause it might happen to me too. I have guilt, which is hard to let go, cause I couldn't do anything about it then. Scared to even think about how many of the females are suppressed by a male, yet they can do nothing about it. I want this to be the voice for those women.
