Short Hair

Everybody in our family has short hair. My dad’s hair is like a pit-bull- short, but thick enough to scare you. And me, my hair is like winning the race without breaking the record. I know I did well, but I can do better. Kyle’s hair is like a cancer patient- thin and getting thinner. Shelly’s has the hair of a team mom- always in place, but never overdone.

But my dogs hair, my dogs hair, like little pedals of grass on a warm summer day, like a hug from someone you love, like someone who has been there your whole life to hold you. When you’re with him you feel loved. He can’t talk; all he does is stare at you, but you know he’s listening.
