Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12 1996 in Mingora, Pakistan. As a child she became an advocate for education for women and received death threats against her. On October 9, 2012 Malala was shot in the head by a gunmen when she was walking home from school and survived. She luckily survived, the sister of the gunmen said that she is ashamed of her brother. She then was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2013 and 2014 she then said, “If I win Nobel Peace Prize, it would be a great opportunity for me, but if I don't get it, it's not important because my goal is not to get Nobel Peace Prize, my goal is to get peace and my goal is to see the education of every child.” The Taliban started attacking schools for girls she then made a speech named “How dare the Taliban take away my basic right to education?" Shortly after the speech she was shot, but she didn’t stop speaking out. Malala is a hero and she is very insperation, because she speaks out for what she believes.
