“Mountains don’t kill people, they just sit there.” – Ed Viesturs. Everest the tallest mountain in the world, many people dare to climb it. It is 29,000 ft into the air and yet people still do. Everest is related to life because it makes you stronger, make you change how you think, see the world differently, and change how you think. Everest changes you like life.

Everest makes you stronger. ”But now that I was finally here, standing at the summit of Mount Everest. I just couldn’t summon the energy to care.” Jon Krakauer states. Basically what Krakauer is trying to say is that even though he was at the top of Everest but he didn’t care, but to get down. Everest is very high up that after getting up there you are just tired. The lack of oxygen, long trail, and cold just makes it even harder. It is like life because it makes you stronger form going on those things and facing these challenges. In life there are also hardships like these and from them you also get stronger.

Being on the tallest mountain in the world makes you think differently. ”You’ve climbed the highest mountain in the world. What’s left? It’s all downhill from there. You’ve got to set your sights on something higher than Everest.” States Willi Unsoeld. What I think he is trying to say is even thought you’ve gotten somewhere you still have to go higher. I think climbing Everest changes you because it makes you think differently while being on it. You see different experience while being on it and form those it changes how you think. Life is like that too because thing also happen in there that make you think differently like meeting different people and going to school.

Everest makes you change how you see the world. Peter Habeler states” I have not conquered Everest, it has merely tolerated me.” What I think Habeler is saying is that you can’t conquer Everest. The things that happen on Everest are important to you and it makes you see the world differently. You could face many difficult task and form them those changes come. It is like life because in life things can happen and change how you see the world. You could face many different experiences like hearing people’s story and thing like that. With all those thing life and Everest changes how you see the world.

Staying on Everest can make you appreciate life.” Getting to the top of the summit is optional, getting down is mandatory.” Ed Viesturs sates. Viesturs is saying that going to the top is a choice but once you get up there you have to come down, or you’ll die. The things on Everest that happen that can make you appreciate life are stuff like near-death experience or seeing someone die. Since it is isolated it is hard to rescue or help someone in danger up there so that thing can happen. In life those thing can happen too because life is unpredictable. SO that why I think it makes you see the world differently.

In conclusion, I think Everest changes you like life. It makes you stronger, makes you think differently, see the world form a different point of view, and makes you appreciate life. So with all that it explains why I think Everest does that. “I have climbed my mountain, but I must still live my life.”- Tenzing Norgay.

You are such a good writer. I like how you use an expressive quotation in each paragraph & then go on to expand on each theme. You make your points very clearly.
