The wall fall

The walls fall down
The Earth begins to tremble
The sky is a blanket of black on the horizon
The wind a heart stopping sheet of ice

All you have is a broken heart
And the rain to hide your tears

The world is unfair...
And sometimes painful

You feel you could just cry all day
No matter who watches

But someone is watching
Though you may not know

And somebody loves you
Even when the walls fall

The author's comments:
Originally this piece came with a bunch of pictures between each paragraph
1. three soldiers in war
2. Parents arguing with a kid plugging her ears so she cant hear them fight
3. A funeral
4. Someone bare foot, sitting on the sidewalk crying with their head between there hands
5. A red/orange sun rising
6. The famous painting by Michelangelo "The Creation of Adam" Just around their hands.
It might give the poem more depth
