It’s time for a change, this nation needs one
I hope this new president will help a ton
People may doubt him or disagree
But they will just have to wait and see
Our health plans are bad our economy is worse
I know it can change with no remorse
We need our soldiers to finish their jobs Iraq
But we also need them to hurry and get back
I want to see change and people to believe
We picked the best candidate to succeed
Barak Obama is now in charge of our nation
And started his work with no hesitation
He knows America is beautiful and has a lot to offer
And everyone that comes here has an opportunity to prosper
He loves this country and wants a change
I know he’ll make it happen I followed his campaign
So let’s stand behind our president don’t leave him alone
America lets unite this wonderful place we call home
