I say it now because I can...I ran.
I ran away from it all ...from you and I know I will do it again.
Tell myself not again; never again ...now look at what I’ve done.
I know it to be too true I’ve done it before and now to you
I saw you leave and knew I still loved you.
You said after all that had happened that it’d be ok
You said it would not be goodbye
Only if I believed you, only if it was true,
then maybe I would not be crying
