7th grade lessons

Today, the last day of 7th grade, I had been waiting for this day all year. When it came I felt different than I thought I would. My heart ached as went to every class wondering who I would see next year and who wouldn’t be their. My best friend was talking about moving, another was talking about being home schooled. I realized something though, every moment you have and every memory you need to cherish. Life goes by so quick you don’t see how much you change the world and every person in it.

I thought the teachers were teaching us things we would never use again, but they were teaching us more than math or science. They were teaching us life lessons even though we had no clue. The important thing I learned in 7th grade was that life isn’t about how much money you have or how smart you are. It’s mostly about being happy and spending you time with the people you love and care about.

Now that I am going to be in 8th grade I have a different outlook on everything. When I go into 8th grade I want to look for more than just the math or science lesson, but at what else they are telling us about life.
