The Hard Part

July 18, 2010
Fighting a battle all on my own
I was chosen for reasons unknown

They push me into lockers and make fun of my hair.
Come home crying but mother doesn’t care.
She says I need to quit whining and pissing them off.

Father can’t even feed himself,
every time I see him he is drunk of mad.
Never really had a reason to call him “Dad”

Too nervous to complete my homework,
once an A student now failing.
These kids can be so cruel,
I am now considering dropping out of school.
Government won’t let me so there goes option two and three.

Only choice I have now is one,
prescription drugs aren’t that hard to come upon.
Take one or two, I’m out for a while.

Take the whole thing and goodbye tomorrow.

Those last lines really hit me hard. Take one or two, I'm out for a while. Take the whole thing and goodbye tomorrow. That just really hit me like a train. A BIG train. THis is so great, soemthing I can really REALLY relate to. Keep writing because there are people like me out there who are listening.

If these are your feelings, hold on, hold on, you were once an A student, dont let anyone take that away from you. You are clearly smart and hardworking, you are a bueatiful writer. So hold on and know people out there cares about you, I care, so that's one. Don't let them tear you apart, they're hurting to and so they're trying to release their pain onto you, I would know, Ive been in your situation. Hold on, you are bueatiful and can never be replaced

Thanks! But these aren't my feelings. I wrote them from another perspective.
