I found Ayla D.’s article “Angles” extremely interesting but I couldn’t relate to her brilliance in math. She had mentioned, “while my entire class struggled with fractions, I was working with decimals.” Although I couldn’t personally relate to the author’s experiences, I loved the way they compared themsef to their father by saying, “I was a variable, and he was constant.” The title “Angles” really does have a deeper meaning than just degree measurements in math, yet how there’s all different perspectives and viewpoints, regardless of the subject. Overall, great work by Ayla D. comparing her relationship with her father to mathdmatical instances.
