The writing titled “True Companions”, written by Katherine H., talks about her love fore books. Her writing left me feeling satisfied and motivated because I didn’t detect any irritation or regret in the author’s tone. The only obstacle she presented was her disinterest and struggle to hold drawn-out conversations with other people. The article was overall very laid back as she describes her relationship with books saying, “…nothing pleased me more than to carefully select a couple [of books] and plop in the corner of my room. Just me and the books.” Katherine H.’s article left me feeling motivated to read more because of all of the positive affects she’s discovered from reading: “ My friendship with books has given me empathy…” I enjoyed reading this pleasant article, and I believe it was written relatively well.
