I can completely relate to Anthony Cook's article, because we all are tempted to hide our sorrows to avoid being belittled or ampathized by others. He throughly expresses the depth of pain people undergo, while hiding behind the happy masks called smiles. "Look at our friends and put on our face smile" undoubedtly he is referring back to the societal standards of utopia( Cook). Peer pressure forces people to hide their emotions and lie about their weaknesses. According to Anthony even hiding emotions to hurt secretly, but I wonde does it hurt more to hide than speak out. Peer pressure and to look fine should not be a berrier for those who want to live freely. People should be able to be and show who they are, as the first ammendment concludes.
