In the writing titled “ A World of Color,” written by Katelynn Mcllwain, talks about what other people think about color of skin. Her writing left me feeling sad. Katelynn is black, and she used to get comments that would pretty much say people only liked her because Katelynn didn’t act black,  “I used to think these were comments,” Katelynn explains.  Now that she is older, her friends have turned on her. Katelynn’s friends now don’t respect her because of her skin color. Everyone in her school has changed into these type of people. No one respects other people’s cultures, backgrounds, or even skin color. Now that’s sad. Katelynn says, “Humanity is better than this,” and it should be better. Next, she explains how we should love the person we are no matter our back ground, skin color, or culture. Katelynn wants people to realize that we live in a world of color, and we need more peace in the world. I agree with her.
