The writing titled “Body Shaming: The Skinny Stance,” written by The Pink Voice, was shocking. Her writing about body shaming skinny people left me feeling shocked that people bully others about how skinny they are. I agree with her that it is horrible to body shame someone who is skinny. It should not be that way because it does not matter how you look on the outside but how beautiful your heart is. I can relate to her a little bit when I was younger, at least from my point of view. My sister is eight years older than I, so I watched her. When I was younger, I wanted her body instead of my tiny one. I understand how she felt just by reading her article. Like how you could tell she didn’t feel like a woman because she didn’t have the right curves. She writes, “my body size determined my sense of women hood.” I don’t see the same issue around me in my school. When she wrote in the end, “I am great because I am skinny and I’m beautiful,” I was proud of her.
