This selection called “Verbal Harassment,” written by Isabella W., left me feeling incredibly sad for humanity. Two boys for some reason thought that it was okay to harass this girl. The faceless boys yelled to her, “Hey, I bet she’ll call you daddy” and “Hey! Call me daddy!” In today’s generation boys/men are not afraid to say what they are thinking. I am so sad that so many girls have and will experience this. The males of today really need to start treating women with respect. A girl could get harassed and that could be her last straw. It could lead some people to do very horrible things to themselves. Men need to begin to think before they speak.
