Sleep. We all need it to survive, to recharge. Every day, we wake up to new possibilities.
However, "Endless Sleep" by Reagan B. told me otherwise. Sometimes, sleep isn't a good thing. Yes, it introduces us to a new day, where something extraordinary might happen. Yes, sleep can take us to a different land, where the only limitations are our imaginations. Yes, sleep takes us one step closer to the future. But what happens when we don't wake up? Is sleep a good thing then? Will our final rest be followed by something better to come? Our brains cannot possible grasp the concept of an eternal sleep. The one thing I do know is that Reagan's piece made me question the purpose of our experiences if we all just sleep in the end.
