The Day After I Killed Myself

The poem by Rachel Miesen opens up a lot of thoughts about suicide, like how others are affected and how they might regret it. ”The day after I killed myself was the day that I realized I didn’t want to be dead.” Many people don’t seem to realize that things get better. This also affects others around them. Some people try to help and do anything they can but it’s just not enough. Suicide can take a toll on others as some people could feel like they could have done more, causing them to be depressed.
