Feedback on "Love at First Sight"

“Love At First Sight” isn't exactly as heartwarming as you'd think it'd be, compared to the title. Instead, it skips over the sweet parts and jumps straight to the bittersweet parts of love. It describes love as painful, and the narrator does not want any part in it.
I have never experienced love, but that doesn't mean I can't interpret it. I’ve read books and memoirs on how love is painful, like a bad crash after getting a high. You want to forget everything that happened when you were on drugs, but want to experience it even more still.
