This article talks about “Italy vs. America,” but it’s not what you think. It talks about foods from Italy and how America mocks it. It’s just food, but something about America’s version is not right when you’ve tasted Italy’s.
“Italy vs. USA” by Cam Lind caught my attention because the author explains why they couldn’t go back to Americanized versions of foods from other countries. It’s understandable because America is a melting pot of cultures, so we have many different things and they aren’t really original such as: pasta, pizza, sushi, and many other cultural foods. The author explains how America’s versions of food mimic other countries. Maybe I should travel to Italy and try some pizza.

The author's comments:

I live in Texas, and I love pizza. Pizza never gets old to me; however, if I were to travel to Italy the cardboard box and takeout pizza will never be the same.
