I felt overjoyed about his writing on meeting Al at the store, but it lefet me feeling very sad towards the end.  The passage is written extremely well because he uses imagery.  When he talks about what Al wore to the game you can picture everything.  His transition from talking about there great memory together to how he passed away is wonderiful.  This is the section, "If the Packers can beat the Bears, I can beat cancer."  He brings that great memory throughout the section when he was speaking of his cancer and death.  The ending left me a little confused afterwards becaause he starts talking at the funeral, adn he says, "The summer after freshmen year started slowly, I made sure to take advantage of the free time..."  I don't understand really what his free time did with the story or the funeral.
