In "A Stupid Mistake," written by Samantha H. I felt compelled.  Her writing about making sure no one is driving under the influence while I'm a passenger in their car left me feeling vulnerable and educated.  I have never been in a car accident but I have seen them and they are usually scarier than what meets the eye.  Samantha is easily able to describe that night while maintaining her composure.  She never calls that boy bad names although, she does know that he, as well as she, made a terrible mistake that night.  I think that goes to show how mature and respectful she is.  She used words like, "One hour, one minute..." which makes you realize how your life can change in the blink of an eye.  She also says, "Why hadn't I checked that he was sober before I got in his car," which makes you think about how although it was mainly his fault, she also had part because she trusted him to drive her.
