In "The a Story of Iqbal Masih" the author, Rachel Breau, talks about a young boy named Iqbal. Iqbal was sold off to a factory in return for money for his older brother's wedding. The piece is written from Iqbal's viewpoint. The author does an amazing job of describing Iqbal's struggles as well as historical background.

Since my family is also from Pakistan, I know a lot about this occurrence. It is known as child trafficking. In the piece, it hints the fact that his father didn't need him. This was upsetting.

I found this piece very well written and very emotional. That's why I reviewed this piece.
