The poem "I Am Not Beautiful" is written by Emily Anderson. This poem describes that you don't need to be beautiful to achieve success in life. If you are kind, healthy and smart, you don't need to be beautiful to feel better about yourself. The piece conveys that beauty is not a number one priority.
I can relate to this poem because I may not be beautiful but I am kind, smart and healthy. I don't need to be beautiful to achieve success. No matter what you look like you are unqiue in your own way.
