“The Bathrooms in Japan” By Nana Karayama

This selection is about how clean the bathrooms are in Japan.  The author talks about how much cleaner they are compared to the United States.  They are cleaned hourly and are really nice.

My reaction is jealousy.  I am jealous that our bathrooms aren’t as clean as Japans.  Clean bathrooms are a necessity in my life.  Gross bathrooms disgust me and make me not have to go anymore.  It’s just disgusting to think how unclean some restrooms are.  There are many ratchet and just plain unsanitary bathrooms in the United States.  That would be a nice change to the United States to clean our bathroom every hour.  It’s, also, really annoying when there is no toilet paper, so I would love to have American public bathrooms that are properly maintained.
