A Verb Before Dying

I thought that this story was interesting and well-worded but I fail to see the point. I must admit though, that I wasn’t fully paying attention when I was reading it. And I suppose I could read it again but I don’t really want to. So instead I’ll sit here and wonder if I’m just a lone idiot who just missed the point or if it actually didn’t make sense. I’m hoping for the latter. I hate to be alone.
